The ROSNF Board is recommending changes to our By-Laws.

Purpose of the Fellowship

The purpose of the fellowship is to promote Rotarian fellowship, service, and world peace using all the tools available via social networks.

To be eligible for membership, one must be a Rotarian or Rotaractor in good standing or the spouse of a Rotarian in good standing.

Officers

The officers of the Fellowship include:

  • Chairman
  • Chairman-Elect
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

The new Chairman will appoint a board of directors including the officers and up to 10 additional members from at least 3 different continents.

Election of officers

New officers will be elected in November, for a one-year term, to take office on July 1st the following year.

Balloting will be conducted online. A majority vote of the members is necessary to be elected.

Notice of the election will be sent via an announcement (bulk private message) to all members via the fellowship group.

All candidates running for the office of chairman must have served on the ROSNF board of directors for one year prior to being nominated, and must be a Rotarian in good standing.

Notice of the election will be sent via an announcement (bulk private message) to all members electronically.

There is no charge for membership. However, members may be asked to voluntarily contribute to projects and events as required to cover all costs.

Members will primarily communicate and collaborate with each other via a group facility on the Fellowship’s primary social network.

An electronic newsletter will be sent to all members at least annually via the membership group.

To retain membership in the fellowship, members must agree to receive key communications such as the newsletter and notice of elections by remaining members of the members-only fellowship group.
